“Dehumidifier. Got rid of the tumble dryer because of it. We dry the clothes and towels etc. in the box room on an airer overnight and they’re dry in the morning. Efficient too. In winter we’d stick it on the landing and leave it on during the day to help with condensation.”

“Heated clothes horse. Mine is a two-tier one from Lakeland, which I think has now been discontinued, but the three-tier ones are still around. They're not particularly cheap to buy (I got mine when it was on sale), but they mean you don't need a dryer.”
