Good to know before you buy

Plug: 230V; buy Type G (UK/IE) or Type F (DE/EU) plug versions — do not import US 110-120V models.

EU / UK: US threads hype kettles because 120V kettles are slow; in UK/IE every home already has a 3kW kettle, so EU value is lower — temperature-control kettles are the upgrade.

“Cast iron pan and Dutch oven. I know people talking about their cast irons is a bit of a meme, but I barely use anything else since I got mine. Hard wearing and easy to use, can be out in the oven or a bbq or on the hob. They're just great all round pans. Also a half decent chef's knife and a sharpener.”
